Zero Motorcycles has built on and off the road dual sport electric dirt bike. More closely related to a street bike the Zero FX still has some off roading capabilities.

oh wait….they don’t make a 2020 ALTA Redshift…..

People didn’t buy enough of them and Alta Motors closed up shop.

Its the ONLY electric dirt bike that was built to compete straight up with a gas powered motocross bike.
You can jump it ride it just like you would your motocross dirt bike.
Its not a “Hybrid” like the KTM Freeride or a “Dual Sport” like the ZERO.
I full-blown race bike.
Now….Alta motors did make a dual-sport electric dirt bike as well but I really just want to focus on the motocross version.
For all the reasons mentioned above is why I included it, but really I want one of the big 5 dirt bike manufactures to make one like the Alta E dirt bike.

Yeah I would like to own one as well. They are still the closet full size electric dirt bike that you can buy. I think they are pretty impressive. Sad that Alta closed their doors.
